Conflict Minerals Policy

HFR Conflict Minerals Policy
As part of HFR’s commitment to corporate responsibility and respecting human rights in our own operations and in our supply chain, HFR Conflict Minerals Policy is to eliminate the use of conflict minerals in our products that directly and indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Covered Countries while working to find a sustainable solution to enable conflict-free sourcing.

In support of our Conflict Minerals Policy, HFR will:

- Conduct due diligence with suppliers consistent with the OECD’s Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.

- Require suppliers to purchase 3TG (tin, tantalum, tungsten, & gold) from ethically and socially responsible sources such as Conflict-Free Smelter(CFS) that do not directly or indirectly contribute to conflict

- Encourage suppliers to communicate their policies and due diligence measures to sub-suppliers and perform due diligence on sub suppliers’ source and chain of custody of conflict minerals

- Commit to transparency in the implementation of this policy
